Sharp HealthCare is hiring a Registered Nurse for direct and indirect patient care in California. The role features a 12/36 hour schedule with an 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM shift and weekend requirements on an alternating basis.

Pay ranges reflect contract scale from $61.74 to $90.16 per hour based on experience and union agreement, with placement determined by RN experience. Qualified candidates must hold a California RN license, and have BLS, ACLS, PALS, and NIHSS certifications.

Qualifications

• Graduate of nursing school.
• 2 Years clinical experience.
• California RN license (CA Board of Registered Nursing) - REQUIRED
• AHA BLS Healthcare Professional - REQUIRED
• ACLS Certification - REQUIRED
• PALS - REQUIRED
• NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS) - REQUIRED
• Other Qualification Requirements

Responsibilities

• Delegate and communicates expectations for care delivery processes to team members.
• Assess delegation needs and determine appropriate supervision level.
• Review physician orders and question when appropriate.
• Document per department guidelines; provide concise picture of patient care.
• Serve as a resource for staff on documentation issues.
• Provide age-appropriate patient education and discharge planning.
• Coordinate transfer and discharge planning with the team.
• Collaborate to develop and revise patient education materials.
• Offer guidance and constructive feedback to coworkers.
