Job summary

Trinity Health's St. Mary Medical Center in Bucks County, PA seeks a Registered Nurse (RN) for the Float Team in Critical Care.

This full-time, night shift role requires delivering direct and indirect patient care with professional nursing skills while coordinating with interprofessional teams. The RN will assess patient needs, document assessments and interventions, manage medications, ensure infection control, and contribute to a safe, compassionate care environment.

Qualifications

• BSN from an accredited school of nursing.
• PA RN license.
• AHA BLS certification.
• 3 years of critical care experience.

Responsibilities

• Assesses learning needs and readiness to learn, tailoring education to age, culture and spiritual values.
• Documents admission assessments, reassessments, plans, interventions and medication use with outcomes.
• Uses the information system to communicate patient changes to the team and prioritizes assignments.
• Communicates transfer of patient responsibility during bedside handoffs and rounds.
• Recognizes patient needs and provides individualized care with attention to abuse recognition and referrals.
• Incorporates pain management and supportive care into the plan of care.
• Adheres to infection control standards and maintains a safe, clean environment.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
