Job summary

NaphCare is hiring Registered Nurses (RNs) to join our team in Atlanta, GA, where we manage all aspects of healthcare for the individuals who are currently incarcerated in the Fulton County Jail.

We also offer shift differential for various shifts up to $5.00/hour. Required Shift: Nights. New grads are encouraged to apply and we’ll train you in the exciting field of correctional healthcare.

Qualifications

• Holds a current, unrestricted license as a Registered Nurse within the state of Georgia
• Active BLS CPR Certification (AHA required) and knowledge of nursing practice principles.

Responsibilities

• Performing initial health screenings and physical assessments of newly detained individuals.
• Monitoring and documenting patient health including vital signs and medical histories.
• Providing direct patient care, triaging, assessing needs, developing care plans, and coordinating services.
• Managing acute and chronic conditions such as asthma, hypertension, and diabetes.
• Responding to medical emergencies and ensuring timely transport to facilities.
• Educating patients on preventative care and healthy lifestyles.
