Job summary

NaphCare is hiring a Registered Nurse (RN) in Atlanta, GA to join our team caring for incarcerated individuals at Fulton County Jail. The role includes performing health screenings, medical assessments, medication administration, and chronic disease management in a controlled correctional environment.

Qualifications

• Active Georgia RN license required.
• Current BLS CPR certification (AHA) required.
• Knowledge of nursing principles, safety, and regulations.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
• Ability to work independently and in a team.
• Willingness to work overtime.

Responsibilities

• Perform initial health screenings and physical assessments.
• Monitor and document patient health including vital signs and histories.
• Provide direct care, triage, plan care, and coordinate services.
• Manage chronic conditions such as asthma, hypertension, diabetes.
• Respond to emergencies and arrange transport when needed.
• Educate patients on preventive care and healthy lifestyles.
• Adhere to correctional facility security protocols and policies.
• Maintain accurate medical records and reports.
