Job summary

Healthcare Staffing Professionals has an immediate need for an RN in Michigan correctional facilities. The RN will provide comprehensive nursing care, including assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation for inmates. New grads accepted and licensed RNs are encouraged to apply.

Location: Marquette, MI. Shift: 18:00–06:00. Pay: $64.00/hr for a 40-hour week. Benefits include medical, dental, vision, and retirement options, with 401(k) eligibility after hire.

Qualifications

• BLS certification required.
• Active Registered Nurse License in good standing.
• 2-3 professional references required.

Responsibilities

• Provide general nursing care to inmates, including assessment, planning, implementation and evaluation.
• Assess health status and develop individualized care plans.
• Perform health screenings and respond to urgent health needs.
• Administer medications and Treatments as prescribed by medical staff.
• Educate patients on treatment methods and preventive health practices.
• Support multiple departments (ER/clinic, infection control, QA, etc.) as assigned.
