VitalCore Health Strategies is hiring full-time Registered Nurses for night shift at Genesee County Jail in Flint, Michigan. The RN delivers quality care within the scope of practice and acts as a patient advocate while promoting best nursing practices in a correctional setting.

The role requires a nursing degree, current RN license in Michigan, CPR certification, and the ability to supervise other nursing personnel. Experience in correctional health is preferred but not required.

Formación

• Must possess Nursing Degree from an accredited college or university or have graduated from an approved RN program.
• Must possess a current license as an RN in the state of employment.
• CPR certification active and knowledge of state practice acts and regulations.

Responsabilidades

• Maintain accurate, detailed reports and records.
• Administer medications and monitor patients for reactions and side effects.
• Record patients' medical information and vital signs.
• Monitor, record, and report symptoms or changes in patients' condition.
• Coordinate with healthcare team to assess, plan, implement, or evaluate patient care plans.
• Direct or supervise nursing staff and prepare patients for examinations or treatments.
