Qualifications

• Current and valid RN license in the state providing nursing care.
• Ability to read, write and understand English well.
• Ability to stand, walk, bend, and lift up to 30 pounds as needed.
• Strong attention to confidentiality and patient privacy.
• Ability to administer medications and document care accurately.

Responsibilities

• Assesses resident care and administers prescribed medications.
• Maintains confidential information about residents, families, and staff.
• Transcribes and carries out physician orders and assists during visits.
• Assigns care duties to Nursing Assistants and Hospitality Aides; monitors delivery of care.
• Participates in resident care planning and responds to emergencies as needed.
