Brookridge Retirement Community in Winston-Salem, NC is seeking an experienced full-time night shift RN to join our team. Responsibilities include one-on-one patient visits, assessments, vital signs, medication administration, and patient-family education.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Diploma, Associate, or Bachelor’s School of Nursing, or vocational nursing.
• Current state license as an RN
• Proof of current CPR certification
• Compassionate, friendly demeanor
• Excellent communication skills
• Ability to work a twelve hour shift

Responsibilities

• Visit patients for one-on-one visits
• Complete initial and ongoing assessments of patients
• Assess conditions, chart observations, and perform vital signs and medication review
• Administer medication as prescribed by physician
• Educate patients and families on care strategies and devices
• Provide effective communication with patients, families, and health care professionals
