Job summary

Brookridge Retirement Community in Winston-Salem, NC is seeking an experienced full-time day shift RN to join our team. This position offers 12-hour day shifts (7am-7pm) with options Wed-Fri or Fri-Sun, and includes a $10,000 sign-on bonus after 30 days of full-time employment.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Diploma, Associate, or Bachelor’s School of Nursing or vocational nursing.
• Current state RN license.
• Proof of CPR certification.
• Compassionate, friendly demeanor.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Ability to work a twelve hour track schedule.

Responsibilities

• Visit patients for one-on-one visits.
• Complete initial and ongoing assessments to identify physical, psychosocial, and environmental needs.
• Assess patients’ conditions, chart observations, and perform vital signs and medication review.
• Administer medication as prescribed by the physician.
• Educate patients and families on health care strategies and devices that may improve quality of life.
• Provide effective communication to patients, families, team members, and other health care professionals.

Brookridge Retirement Community located in Winston-Salem is a gated community that sits on 46 wooded acres. Brookridge has 24-hour security so that our residents remain safe at all times. Schedule:

• 12 hour shift, Day Shift (7am-7pm) available
• Wednesday-Friday or Friday-Sunday
• Overtime Available
• Weekend availability

Responsibilities:

• Visit patients for one-on-one visits
