Job summary

Signature HealthCARE of Roanoke Rapids is hiring a full-time Night RN (7p–7a) to provide direct nursing care, assist with ADLs, and supervise nursing staff. You will document care accurately and participate in QA activities as part of an interdisciplinary team.

We require an active RN license in the state of practice, CPR/BLS preferred, and a minimum of 1 year of clinical nursing experience; long-term care experience and supervisory exposure are a plus.

Qualifications

• Active RN license in the state of practice.
• Minimum one year of clinical nursing experience; long-term care experience preferred.
• CPR/BLS certification preferred.
• Experience in a supervisory or charge nurse role preferred.
• Strong documentation and communication skills.
• Familiarity with EHR systems and basic Microsoft Office.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct nursing care to residents, including medication administration and wound care.
• Assist residents with activities of daily living (ADLs) with dignity and safety.
• Supervise nursing assistants and medication aides during the shift.
• Monitor residents' status and communicate changes to the physician.
• Develop and review individualized care plans with the team.
• Document accurately per facility policy and procedures.
• Coordinate admissions, transfers, and discharges per procedures.
• Participate in quality assurance activities and staff education.
