Job summary

Wellstar Health System in Augusta, GA seeks a Registered Nurse to join our night shift team at Wellstar MCG Health Medical Center. This part-time role supports patient care on a busy unit, delivering compassionate nursing services with the patient care team.

You will assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care, coordinate with the care team, and ensure safety, confidentiality, and quality standards while advancing performance improvement initiatives.

Qualifications

• Associates or Diploma in Nursing, or a Bachelor's in Nursing preferred.
• Active nursing license(s) required upon hire.

Responsibilities

• Patient Care and Care Coordination: Monitors, examines, and evaluates patients' conditions and helps promote outcomes.
• Delivers and coordinates the care plan with independence and collaboration with the care team.
• Ensures documentation, confidentiality, safety, and adherence to hospital policies.
• Addresses patient advocacy and family education to support patient-centered care.
• Supports performance improvement initiatives and professional growth within the nursing team.
