• Conducts rounds to assess care quality and gather feedback.
• Assesses staffing requirements and plans for next shift.
• Resolves patient care and operational issues; escalates when needed.
• Ensures shift compliance with quality and regulatory requirements.
• Reviews scheduling requests and manages leave and coverage.
• Manages staffing based on acuity and available resources.
• Supports department initiatives and staff engagement.
• Leads by example to create a healthy work environment.
• Participates in patient care as needed and contributes to performance evaluations.
• Engages in quality improvement activities.
