Job summary

Vanderbilt University Medical Center's Emergency Services unit seeks a licensed RN to assess, implement, and evaluate patient care across the continuum. You will collaborate with the nursing team, physicians, and families to deliver high quality care.

Qualifications

• 1 year of relevant work experience
• Graduate of an approved discipline specific program
• Current RN licensure (state unspecified)

Responsibilities

• Efficiently assess and evaluate patient care; collaborate with nursing staff, physicians, patients, and families.
• Educate patients and families; participate in care planning and prioritization across shifts.
• Coordinate care delivery and anticipate patient needs across the continuum.
• Analyze information to guide nursing diagnoses and progress toward goals.
• Continuously apply nursing process to monitor progress and interventions.
• Promote health and maintain a safe environment for patients.
• Additional duties may be assigned as needed.
• Technical capabilities: Nursing Assessment & Evaluation (Novice); Evidence-Based Practice (Novice).
