Job summary

HCA Florida Memorial Hospital in Jacksonville, FL seeks a Charge Registered Nurse (RN) / Clinical Nurse Coordinator to lead the 3 Central Medical Surgical Unit during night shifts. You will supervise nursing care, collaborate with the management team, and implement staffing plans to ensure safe, high-quality patient experiences.

The role requires a BSN or higher (or within 3 years of hire), an active RN license, BLS and ACLS, and at least 2 years of hospital RN experience, with leadership

Qualifications

Must be a graduate from an accredited nursing program with a BSN or higher, or obtained within 3 years of hire/transfer.
State RN license active in the practice state or multi-state compact license.
Current BLS certification.
Current ACLS certification.
At least 2 years RN hospital/acute care experience.

Responsibilities

Oversees admission/discharge processes for efficient throughput and high-quality care.
Monitors and directs nursing care on the unit, collaborating with management.
Partners with experts and managers to foster teamwork and improve outcomes.
Supports patient-first philosophy and appropriate service recovery actions.
