Job summary

Valley Hope of Boonville seeks a Registered Nurse to serve as Charge Nurse on the night shift (6:30pm - 7:00am). The role involves supervising nursing staff, supporting medical care and case management, and ensuring high-quality patient care during the 30–45 day treatment cycle at a Missouri addiction treatment facility.

The position emphasizes compassionate patient care, teamwork, and adherence to medical protocols within a mission-driven environment.

Qualifications

• Associate degree in nursing and active RN license in the state of employment.
• 4+ years of clinical nursing care with progressive responsibility and 1+ year as charge-nurse.
• CPR certification and ongoing professional development.

Responsibilities

• Supervise nursing staff, provide orientation and training, and mentor staff.
• Support medical care delivery including case management and inpatient services.
• Assist in emergencies and follow policies for medical crises.
• Participate in performance-improvement activities and collaborate on facility-wide improvements.
• Assist with medication administration and ensure compliance with standards.
