Job summary

Homewood Living Williamsport is seeking a licensed RN for night shift in Williamsport, MD to assess resident care and administer prescribed medications.

This part-time role requires standing, walking, lifting up to 30 pounds, and coordinating with Nursing Assistants; benefits include PTO, tuition reimbursement, health/dental/vision/life insurance, retirement contributions, and licensure reimbursement.

Qualifications

• Current and valid RN license in the state providing nursing care.
• Possesses judgment capabilities, initiative and dependability.
• Ability to read, write and understand English well.

Responsibilities

• Assesses the direct delivery of resident care and administers prescribed medications.
• Keeps confidential information about residents, their condition, and family as required.
• Administers prescribed medications and treatments following nursing techniques.
• Maintains accurate records of medical and nursing care of residents.
• Assigns daily resident care duties to Nursing Assistants and Hospitality Aides and monitors care delivery.
• Transcribes and follows physicians orders and assists with physician visits.
• Participates in resident care planning.
• Responds to residents' physical and psychological needs per protocol.
• Assists with admissions and discharges of residents.
• Assists in managing Nursing Assistants and Hospitality Aides.
• Performs other functions as directed by supervisor.
