Job summary

Homewood Living Williamsport is seeking a licensed practical nurse for the night shift on a part-time basis. You will provide compassionate patient care to seniors, administer medications and treatments, and maintain precise nursing records to support resident wellbeing.

As a nursing lead, you will delegate daily duties to nursing assistants and hospitality staff, participate in care planning, and monitor residents’ physical and emotional needs.

Qualifications

• Must have current and valid LPN license in the state of care.
• Good judgment, initiative, and dependability.
• Ability to read, write, and understand English well.

Responsibilities

• Administers prescribed medications and treatments.
• Maintains accurate records of medical and nursing care.
• Assigns daily resident care duties to Nursing Assistants and Hospitality Aides; monitors delivery of care.
• Transcribes and carries out physicians' orders; assists with physician visits.
• Participates in resident care planning.
• Evaluates and responds to residents' physical and psychological needs per nursing protocols.
