Job summary

The Registered Nurse (RN) at Good Samaritan Society in Waconia, MN provides individualized nursing care using the nursing process and collaborates with residents, families, and a multidisciplinary team to plan, implement, and evaluate care. The RN coordinates care across the resident’s health needs and may serve as charge nurse, delegating tasks as appropriate.

This role requires a licensed RN in the state with possible multistate licensure, and a preference for graduates from accredited nursing

Qualifications

• Graduate from a nationally accredited nursing program preferred.
• Currently holds an unencumbered RN license in the practicing state and may have multistate licensure if applicable.
• Bachelor’s Degree in nursing preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide individualized nursing care using the nursing process (assessment, diagnosis, planning, implementation, evaluation).
• Collaborate with residents, families and inter-disciplinary colleagues to plan and evaluate care.
• Coordinate resident care, education and various nursing interventions.
• May serve as charge nurse and delegate tasks to licensed/unlicensed staff as appropriate.
