Job summary

Medical City Fort Worth is seeking a Registered Nurse for the Cardiovascular ICU on a full-time night shift (7pm–7am) with rotating weekends. The role focuses on rapid stroke response, sepsis detection, and enhanced recovery programs within a national learning health system.

The RN coordinates and delivers high-quality care, collaborating with providers to ensure optimal outcomes. Requires ACLS, TX or compact license, and 1 year of nursing experience.

Qualifications

• Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) required.
• TX or compact nursing license required.
• Bachelor's or Associate Degree in Nursing required.
• 1 year of nursing experience required.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and deliver high-quality, patient-centered care in the Cardiovascular ICU.
• Perform procedures and document care in the patient medical record.
• Educate patients and families about condition, treatment plan, medications and follow-up.
• Promote patient self-management through lifestyle guidance.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary team to optimize patient outcomes.
