Job summary

Banner Health Fort Collins Medical Center in Fort Collins, CO is seeking a Registered Nurse for the Nursery on night shift. You will provide postpartum and well-baby care, newborn admissions, level I nursery support, and family education in a boutique-level care environment.

The unit emphasizes teamwork, high patient safety standards, and personalized care with small nurse-to-patient ratios. Night shifts include 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM with rotating weekends and on-call coverage.

Qualifications

• Must possess a current, valid RN license in state of practice.
• BLS certification is required.

Responsibilities

• Provide postpartum and well-baby couplet care.
• Perform newborn admissions and manage newborn transition care.
• Support Level I Nursery care including IV placement, gavage feedings and respiratory support.
• Document and communicate patient status to the care team.
• Ensure safety and high-quality nursing care per standards.
