Job summary

Southwest Health seeks a dedicated RN for the Birth Center night shift (5:00pm–5:30am). The role includes a rotating schedule every third weekend and holiday, with responsibilities to provide nursing care and support under medical staff supervision.

Fulfilling Wisconsin RN licensure, a nursing degree, and BLS certification is required; familiarity with the Nurse Practice Act and RN Scope of Practice is essential. A comprehensive benefits package accompanies this position.

Qualifications

• Requires Bachelor’s or Associate degree in nursing.
• BLS certification required/recommended per policy.
• Wisconsin RN licensure in good standing and eligibility to practice.
• Knowledge of the Wisconsin Nurse Practice Act and RN Scope of Practice.
• Basic computer skills and familiarity with department equipment.

Responsibilities

• Provide nursing care according to the Nurse Practice Act and current standards.
• Follow the individualized plan of care to optimize patient well‑being.
• Work under the direction of medical staff and coordinate with the team.
• Utilize nursing process: assessment, planning, intervention, evaluation.
