Job summary

Wellstar Kennestone Hospital in Georgia is seeking a Registered Nurse for the Antepartum Unit on FT Nights (7pm–7am). You will join an interdisciplinary team to provide individualized, high-quality, safe patient care within the Wellstar governance framework.

The RN will practice under the Professional Practice Model with evidence-based care, uphold ethics, participate in performance improvement, and mentor staff while supporting patient and family needs.

Qualifications

• Must hold GA nursing license or multi-state license.
• Minimum 5 years direct patient care experience.
• ACLS and BLS certifications required on hire (NRP preferred).

Responsibilities

• Exemplary practice and outcomes using the Nursing Process.
• Provide patient-centered care with cultural sensitivity and individualized plans.
• Coordinate care with interdisciplinary team and document thoroughly.
• Engage in bedside shift reports and interdisciplinary rounds to keep patients informed.
• Promote safe, high-quality care and participate in performance improvement initiatives.
• Uphold policy, procedures and professional standards at all times.
