Job summary

Wellstar Kennestone Hospital in Georgia is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse for the Antepartum Unit on FT Nights (7pm–7am). You will collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to provide individualized, high-quality care for antepartum patients, guided by Wellstar practices and patient safety standards.

The role emphasizes evidence-based nursing, patient-centered planning, and strong clinical judgment in a fast-paced obstetric setting.

Qualifications

• Associates or Diploma in Nursing; BSN preferred.
• RN license required.
• ACLS, BLS certifications are required.
• NRP certification may be needed; see facility.
• Strong computer literacy and ability to use electronic health records.

Responsibilities

• Perform nursing process and evidence-based care.
• Provide patient-centered care respecting diverse populations.
• Coordinate with interdisciplinary team through rounds and planning.
• Ensure accurate documentation and reporting.
• Mentor and precept other staff as needed.
