Lutheran Hospital in Fort Wayne, IN is hiring a Registered Nurse for Advanced Cardiac Therapy. This full-time (.9 FTE, 36 hours/week) position has day shifts (7a-7p) with new pay rates for 2026 and a welcome bonus eligible up to $35,000.

The Advanced Cardiac Therapy team supports heart failure patients on a 24-bed unit, providing patient-centered care, telemetry monitoring, and collaboration with physicians and the care team to optimize outcomes.

Qualifications

• 0-2 years of experience in a clinical nursing role or student clinical rotations in an acute care setting required.
• RN license on file with state licensure or compact licensure.

Responsabilités

• Coordinate and deliver high-quality, patient-centered care in accordance with organizational policies and the nursing process.
• Conduct thorough patient assessments and document findings accurately, reporting changes to the care team.
• Administer prescribed medications and monitor for side effects per standards of practice.
• Collaborate with physicians and the health care team to develop and evaluate individualized care plans.
• Respond to medical emergencies and participate in life-saving interventions as appropriate.
• Provide patient and family education and ensure understanding of discharge plans.
