Job summary

Wellstar Health System is seeking a Night shift RN Clinical Nurse to join an interdisciplinary team delivering high-quality, safe patient care. The role emphasizes patient-centered care, evidence-based practice, and adherence to regulatory standards within the Wellstar governance framework.

The position requires an RN license, at least 2 years of direct patient care experience, and strong communication and teamwork skills to support diverse patient populations and collaborate with care teams

Qualifications

• Associate’s degree or graduate of accredited nursing program.
• Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing preferred.
• Minimum 2 years direct patient care nursing experience.
• Ability to read, write and speak English; strong communication and customer service.
• Proficiency with healthcare technology and basic computer skills.

Responsibilities

• Perform the Nursing Process (assessment, diagnosis, outcomes, planning, implementation, evaluation) using evidence-based practice.
• Provide relationship-based patient-centered care reflecting age, gender, disease and cultural diversity.
• Collaborate with patient and significant others to keep goals at the focus of the plan of care.
• Practice with current clinical standards and evidence-based practice.
• Participate in shared governance and performance improvement initiatives.
