Job summary

Qualifications

• Active RN license in Georgia or multi-state compact (RN-COMPACT)
• Minimum 5 years RN experience required
• Direct patient care experience preferred
• Ability to read, write and speak English
• Strong interpersonal and customer service skills
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and respond to emergencies
• Knowledge of evidence-based practice and nursing research

Responsibilities

• Perform the Nursing Process (assessment, planning, implementation and evaluation) and deliver individualized, high-quality patient care
• Coordinate care through effective partnerships and demonstrate teamwork
• Serve as a preceptor/mentor for other nurses and staff
• Support performance improvement initiatives and evidence-based practice
• Contribute to shared governance and adherence to organizational policies
• Promote patient safety goals and hospital safety absolutes
