Job summary

Intermountain Health is seeking a capable Registered Nurse (RN) for a full-time night shift at Good Samaritan Hospital in Lafayette, CO. You will assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care with an emphasis on evidence-based practice and teamwork.

The role requires an RN license, BLS, and a BSN within four years for newer hires; compact licenses must be transferred within 60 days. Expect collaboration with interdisciplinary teams in a high-demand environment.

Qualifications

• Current license to practice as a Registered Nurse in state of practice.
• Valid compact licenses must be transferred to the state of practice within 60 days of the start of employment.
• RNs with less than 12 months of experience must obtain their Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) within four (4) years of their hire date.
• Basic Life Support Certification (BLS) for healthcare providers.

Responsibilities

• Assess patients using physical, social, and psychological status; collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to plan care.
• Develop and implement individualized plans of care with patient and family involvement.
• Direct and coordinate care delivery, delegating tasks as appropriate to ensure timely, quality care.
• Evaluate patient responses and revise plans as needed to achieve goals and optimal outcomes.
• Promote professionalism by adhering to ethical standards, documenting accurately, and complying with licensure requirements.
