Job summary

Manchester Memorial Hospital, Inc. is seeking a registered nurse to provide high-quality patient-centered care using the nursing process on nights.

The role requires collaboration with an interdisciplinary team and the ability to respond quickly to changes in patient conditions. Qualifications include CT licensure, BCLS/ACLS, NCLEX within 90 days of graduation, strong English communication, and basic computer skills.

Qualifications

• Must be a graduate of an accredited school of Nursing with a current licensure in the State of Connecticut.
• Must have certification in Basic Cardiac Life Support and Advanced Cardiac Life Support upon hire or receive certification within the new employee introductory orientation period and maintain clinical competency during employment.
• Graduate Nurses: Must pass NCLEX 90 days from graduation date.
• Must be able to effectively communicate verbally as well as in writing using the English language.
• Possesses basic computer skills.

Responsibilities

• Utilizing the nursing process, provides high quality direct and indirect patient-centered care.
• Coordinates patient care by working collaboratively with the interdisciplinary team.
• Communicates patient clinical condition and responds quickly to changes in condition or response to treatment.

Graduate of accredited school of Nursing
