Job summary

Manchester Memorial Hospital, Inc. in Connecticut is seeking a registered nurse to provide high-quality patient‑centered care. You will work 32 nights, every other weekend and holiday, coordinating with the interdisciplinary team and communicating changes in patient condition.

Qualifications include CT nursing license, accredited nursing degree, BLS/ACLS, and NCLEX within 90 days post-graduation. English proficiency and basic computer skills are required.

Qualifications

• Must be a graduate of an accredited school of Nursing with a current licensure in CT.
• BLS and ACLS certification required at hire or within orientation.
• NCLEX must be passed within 90 days of graduation.
• Effective communication in English, verbally and in writing.
• Basic computer skills.

Responsibilities

• Utilizes the nursing process to provide high-quality direct and indirect patient-centered care.
• Coordinates patient care with the interdisciplinary team.
• Communicates patient’s clinical condition and responds quickly to changes in condition or treatment.
• Demonstrates knowledge of growth and development principles for life span and age-appropriate care.
• Reports to the Clinical Nurse Manager.
