Job summary

Manchester Memorial Hospital, Inc. is seeking a dedicated registered nurse to provide direct and indirect patient-centered care in a 249-bed community hospital setting. You will coordinate patient care with the interdisciplinary team and respond swiftly to changes in a patient’s condition.

The role requires CT licensure, BLS/ACLS certification, and NCLEX completion within 90 days of graduation. Strong communication and computer skills are essential for success in this collaborative environment.

Qualifications

• Must be a graduate of an accredited school of Nursing with a current licensure in the State of Connecticut.
• Must have certification in Basic Cardiac Life Support and Advanced Cardiac Life Support upon hire or within orientation period.
• Graduate Nurses must pass NCLEX 90 days from graduation date.
• Must be able to effectively communicate verbally as well as in writing using the English language.
• Possesses basic computer skills.

Responsibilities

• Utilizing the nursing process, provides high quality direct and indirect patient-centered care.
• Coordinates patient care by working collaboratively with the interdisciplinary team.
• Communicates, as appropriate, the patient’s clinical condition, responding quickly and accurately to changes in condition or response to treatment.
• Promotes the profession of nursing and professional practice through collegial support and interactions.
