Job summary

Methodist Medical Center of Oak Ridge, part of Covenant Health, seeks a Registered Nurse, Flex for full-time night shifts. Three 12-hour shifts per week with every other weekend, premium shift differential, and full benefits.

Must be a graduate of an accredited nursing program and TN-licensed RN, with current ACLS/CPR/NALS as applicable. Provides direct patient care, develops care plans, and ensures compliance with standards while coordinating with the care team and supporting nursing students

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
• Licensed RN by the Tennessee Board of Nursing.
• Current CPR/ACLS/NALS certifications as required by unit.
• Experience in department specialty preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assess patient physiological and psychosocial needs and problems.
• Develop individualized nursing care plans with measurable outcomes.
• Ensure care aligns with medical plans and current standards.
• Assign tasks to team members using acuity data.
• Ensure adherence to hospital policies and infection control.
• Participate in orientation for new staff and nursing students.
• Document plan of care updates at least every 24 hours.
