Job summary

Claiborne Medical Center, part of Covenant Health, is seeking a Registered Nurse for our Nursing Home unit. This full-time night-shift role covers 80 hours per pay period and involves coordinating care with an interdisciplinary team.

Minimum Tennessee RN license and CPR are required. New graduates are welcomed within the first year of orientation, with a plan to advance to level II after one year of experience.

Qualifications

• RN licensure required by TN state board.
• New graduate acceptable within first year of orientation; move to level II after 1 year.
• CPR certification required by facility.
• Position requires professional nursing care and care planning.

Responsibilities

• Completes nursing history and initiates patient education.
• Collaborates with interdisciplinary team members.
• Implements plan of care and evaluates outcomes.
• Coordinates unit/patient caregivers and supervise staff.
• Mentors new employees and student interns on unit routines.
• Participates in unit committees and quality improvement initiatives.
• Ensures safe environment and reports equipment issues or abuse.
• Adheres to policies and safety standards; completes required trainings.
