Solomons Nursing Center in Solomons, MD is seeking a Night Shift RN/LPN to provide direct nursing care under medical direction and supervise non-licensed personnel. You will help modify treatment regimens to meet residents' needs and coordinate with medical staff.

The role requires compassionate patient care, strong communication skills, and the ability to work flexible hours. A $6,000 sign-on bonus is offered for full-time hires, with opportunities for tuition reimbursement and career growth.

Qualifications

• Graduate from an accredited school of nursing.
• Must possess a current, unencumbered, active license to practice as an RN or LPN in state of employment.
• A physical examination and/or evidence from a physician indicating freedom of communicable disease to be available upon employment.
• Must be in good physical and mental health.
• Ability to work independently or part of a group.
• Effectively communicates with others.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct nursing care to residents under the medical direction and supervision of attending physicians.
• Monitor the performance of non-licensed personnel.
• Assist in modifying the treatment regimen to meet residents' physical and psychological needs.
• Communicate with medical staff and nursing personnel.
• Be prepared to work beyond normal hours and in other positions temporarily when necessary.
• Participate in continuing education programs.
