Job summary

ChristianaCare is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) to join the 6B Medical Unit in Wilmington, DE. The selected candidate will work three 12-hour night shifts per week, with a 20% shift differential for the entire shift.

RNs on 6B care for adults 18+ with various diagnoses, under the guidance of a charge nurse who assigns patients by acuity and needs. This role emphasizes relationship-based care and our values of love and excellence.

Qualifications

• RN license in Delaware or a Compact State.
• BSN preferred or committed to acquiring BSN within 3 years of hire.
• At least one year of med/surg experience as an RN.
• BLS required.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care on the 6B Medical Unit.
• Work three 12-hour night shifts per week, including weekends & holidays per department guidelines.
• Assist with patient assessments, care planning and coordination.
• Collaborate with charge nurse to assign patients based on diagnosis, acuity and staff qualifications.
• Foster relationship-based care with patients, families and teammates, guided by ChristianaCare values of love and excellence.
