Job summary

UBH Denton is seeking a Registered Nurse for a TEMPORARY 16-week assignment at its psychiatric hospital in Denton, TX. The night shift runs 7pm–7:30am with rotating weekends, and the position pays $65 per hour on a 12-hour shift schedule.

This is a non-benefits temporary role. The RN will coordinate and evaluate patient care, ensuring standards of care, documentation, infection control, and regulatory compliance.

Qualifications

• Graduate from an accredited nursing program; Bachelor's degree preferred.
• Minimum of three years' experience in a psychiatric facility.
• Current Texas nursing license.
• Must pass medication administration exam; CPR and Handle with Care/Verbal De-escalation training within 30 days.

Responsibilities

• Ensure care delivered aligns with Standards of Care and Practice.
• Ensure compliance with Joint Commission, state and patient rights standards.
• Maintain infection control, safety and risk management policies.
• Document patient information and nursing care accurately.
