Job summary

UK King’s Daughters Pharmacy is seeking a pharmacist for a Retail Night Shift. Responsible for comprehensive pharmaceutical care, medication reconciliation, and education of patients and staff.

You will review orders, collaborate with the care team, and support clinical research and quality initiatives. Qualified candidates hold a Bachelor’s or PharmD from an ACPE-accredited school, with 0–2 years of relevant experience and active licensure in applicable states.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree or PharmD from ACPE accredited school.
• Active licensure in applicable states.
• 0–2 years of experience in pharmacy operations.
• BLS/ACLS within 90 days of hire.

Responsibilities

• Review and verify medication orders for safety and accuracy.
• Participate in patient care rounds and pharmacotherapy management.
• Educate patients, caregivers, and providers on medication therapy.
• Compounds, dispenses, and supervises preparation of medications.
• Maintain inventory and records for controlled substances and medications.
• Contribute to quality improvement, patient safety, and cost management initiatives.
