Job summary

Temple Hospital seeks an experienced Supervisor Respiratory Therapy to lead the Respiratory Care team on full-time night shifts. You will oversee operations, coordinate clinical activities, participate in staff recruitment, scheduling, training and disciplinary actions, and contribute to protocol development and performance improvements.

Occasional patient care may be required. The role emphasizes leadership in a high-acuity, critical care environment with night shift coverage and collaboration

Qualifications

• Requires Associate's Degree Respiratory Therapy.
• Bachelor's Degree preferred or related field.
• Combination of relevant education and experience may be considered in lieu of degree.

Responsibilities

• Provides management and leadership in the department.
• Oversees departmental operations and coordinates clinical activities.
• Participates in recruitment and hiring of staff, as well as schedules, supervises, trains, develops and disciplines staff.
• Assists in development of protocols and performance improvement activities to assess process and outcomes.
• Performs patient care as necessary.
