Job summary

Liberty Hospital is seeking a Respiratory Therapist for night shift full-time coverage. The role involves comprehensive respiratory care delivery, including ventilator management, non-invasive support, and patient education across neonatal to geriatric patients.

You will collaborate with physicians and nursing staff, perform arterial blood gas analysis, and contribute to diagnostic tests while ensuring high-quality patient care and safety.

Qualifications

• Graduate from an accredited Respiratory Therapy education program.
• Associates Degree in Respiratory Therapy preferred; CRT experience desired.
• Licensed Respiratory Therapist (RT) with NBRC certification upon hire and state license.

Responsibilities

• Perform initial and follow-up respiratory assessments with clinical judgment.
• Titrate and optimize ventilation settings for patients across age groups.
• Educate patients about lung diseases, therapies and plan of care.
• Assist with bronchoscopy and related procedures; maintain airway safety.
• Monitor and respond to blood gas analysis and pulmonary diagnostics results.
• Coordinate with nursing staff for airway care and patient education.
