Job summary

Trinity Health Of New England, at Saint Francis Hospital in Hartford, CT, seeks a Respiratory Therapist to deliver respiratory care with clinical judgment and to support physicians and care teams with current practices and devices.

You will operate ventilators and related equipment, manage invasive ventilation and work on the night shift in a full-time role with competitive benefits starting day one.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited school of Respiratory Care with an Associate's degree.
• Current CT Respiratory Care Practitioner license.
• NBRC-credentialed RRT or CRT.
• Thorough knowledge of respiratory care procedures.

Responsibilities

• Provide respiratory care with clinical judgment and independent decision-making.
• Serve as a technical resource to physicians and staff on respiratory care practices.
• Set up, operate and manage respiratory equipment (ventilators, NIPPV/CPAP, High Flow Oxygen).
• Manage patients on invasive mechanical ventilation modes (AC, PSV, PC, APRV, Bi-level).

Education

Associate's Degree in Respiratory Care

CT Respiratory Care Practitioner License

RRT or CRT NBRC certification
