Northwestern Medicine Catherine Gratz Griffin Lake Forest Hospital is hiring Respiratory Care Practitioners for full-time and part-time night shifts (7p–7:30a). A $10,000 sign-on bonus is available, with a 36-hour work week (0.9 FTE) for full-time positions and 24 hours for part-time roles. Competitive hourly pay and comprehensive benefits are offered.

Requirements include graduation from an accredited RT program, CRT or RRT, active or pending Illinois license, and BLS. PALS/ACLS are preferred.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an Accredited Respiratory Therapy Program.
• Certified Respiratory Therapist (CRT) or Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT).
• Active or Pending Illinois Respiratory Care License.
• Basic Life Support (BLS).
• Preferred: PALS and ACLS.

Responsabilités

• Competent in all adult med surg units in all respiratory therapies and modalities.
• Delivers and assesses response to ordered therapy and adjusts frequencies as appropriate.
• Educates patients and families on respiratory disease management.
• Participates in multidisciplinary rounds and collaborates with the healthcare team.
• Precepts students and models teamwork.
