UChicago Medicine AdventHealth in Illinois is seeking a Respiratory Therapist for full-time night shifts. You will perform respiratory therapies, monitor ventilators, and collaborate with an interdisciplinary team to deliver quality patient care.

The role requires an Associate degree in Respiratory Therapy or Cardiopulmonary Science, BLS, and RRT certification; NBRC credential is preferred. 1+ year critical care experience is preferred. Competitive pay and benefits offered.

Competenze

• Associate degree in Respiratory Therapy or Cardiopulmonary Science.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required.
• State Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) required.
• NBRC credential preferred.
• 1+ year of critical care experience preferred.

Mansioni

• Operate and monitor ventilators per policy and procedure.
• Perform arterial blood gases analysis and quality controls.
• Support patient flow through collaboration with multidisciplinary team.
• Provide CPR during Code Blue emergencies.
• Deliver respiratory therapies and assess efficacy.
