Qualifikationen

• Graduate from an accredited respiratory care program with an associate degree.
• RCP license and NBRC credentials within 12 months.
• BLS for Healthcare Providers certification by AHA.
• No experience required.

Aufgaben

• Use respiratory therapy processes to support patient assessment using pulmonary diagnostics and gas exchange data.
• Operate ventilators in critical and non-critical care settings.
• Assist physicians with bedside procedures as applicable.
• Provide prescribed medications and therapies per orders or protocols.
• Educate patients on purpose, technique, and self-care of therapy.
• Maintain and troubleshoot equipment and ensure safety and proper function.
