Advocate Health is seeking a Respiratory Therapist for Aurora Medical Center Grafton, nights, 0.9 FTE. Pay range is $33.05–$49.60 per hour, with comprehensive benefits and opportunities for merit increases.

The role requires an Associate degree in respiratory care, RCP licensure, NBRC credentials or equivalent, and BLS certification. You will operate ventilators, administer therapies, educate patients, and support cross-functional teams in a fast-paced setting.

Qualifications

• Graduate from an accredited respiratory care program, with a minimum of an associate degree.
• Licensure as Respiratory Care Practitioner (RCP) in the practicing state; NBRC credentials required.
• BLS for Healthcare Providers certification by AHA.

Responsabilités

• Operate ventilators in critical and non-critical care venues and assist physicians.
• Provide prescribed respiratory therapies and medications.
• Educate patients on therapy purpose, technique and self-care.
• Maintain and troubleshoot equipment and arrange service as needed.
• Demonstrate safety, document handoffs, and participate in team education.
