Advocate Health is hiring a Respiratory Therapist for Aurora St. Luke’s Medical Center in Milwaukee, WI. This full-time, 0.9 FTE night shift position offers a comprehensive benefits package and a 36-hour week schedule with a 1830-0700 rotation and every 4th weekend.

You will perform diagnostic and therapeutic respiratory care, operate ventilators, and support patient education while collaborating with the care team to ensure safe, high-quality outcomes.

Qualifications

• Graduate from an accredited respiratory care program with an associate degree.
• Active RRT or CRT credential NBRC within/after 2023.
• BLS for Healthcare Providers certification.

Responsibilities

• Operate ventilators and assist physicians with bedside procedures.
• Provide prescribed respiratory treatments and manage patient care.
• Educate patients on therapy goals and self-care.
• Maintain equipment and ensure safety in all shifts.
• Document and communicate patient status clearly during handoffs.
