Job summary

Medical City Dallas is seeking a Respiratory Therapist (RRT) to join our team on a PRN basis, with a minimum of two night shifts per week and consistent scheduling to support patient care across multiple units.

The RT will perform diagnostic and therapeutic procedures, manage ventilation, and collaborate with the care team to deliver high-quality care while upholding safety standards.

Qualifications

• NBRC-RRT credential required.
• RRT/RCP-State license or certification.
• Certificate in respiratory care or related field.
• BCLS instructor certification required.

Responsibilities

• Assess respiratory status and determine need for interventions.
• Deliver oxygen therapy, aerosolized meds, and airway clearance techniques.
• Manage ventilation and airway placements including invasive/noninvasive modes.
• Educate patients and families; collaborate with physicians and nurses.
