Jupiter Medical Center is seeking a skilled Registered Respiratory Therapist to support both critical and non-critical care areas. The role involves delivering aerosol and oxygen therapies, performing arterial blood gases, and assisting with pulmonary procedures.

Must maintain NBRC credentials and Florida licensure with current certifications. Responsibilities include pulmonary function testing, CPT, and assisting with bronchoscopy and CPR.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Respiratory Therapist program with an Associates Degree.
• Registered Respiratory Therapist by NBRC.
• Current Florida RT or TT license; CRT accepted but must become RT within 36 months from initial hire date.
• American Heart Association BLS, ACLS, PALS certifications.
• NRP certification within 90 days from initial hire date.

Responsabilités

• Perform aerosol and oxygen therapy, CPT, and incentive spirometry.
• Manage mechanical ventilation and arterial blood gases.
• Conduct pulmonary function testing and pulse oximetry.
• Assist with fiberoptic bronchoscopy and CPR.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Formation

Associates Degree in Respiratory Therapy

Registered Respiratory Therapist (NBRC)

Florida RT or TT license

CRT accepted; must become RT within 36 months

AHA BLS, ACLS, PALS certifications

NRP certification within 90 days
