Job summary

Jupiter Medical Center is seeking a Registered Respiratory Therapist II (Per Diem - Days) to join the Respiratory Therapy team. The role supports both critical and non-critical care areas, delivering comprehensive respiratory care and guidance to staff.

Eligible candidates graduate from an accredited RT program with an Associate’s Degree and hold NBRC RRT status, with a Florida license in good standing. CRTs may apply but must transition to RRT within 36 months.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Respiratory Therapist program with an Associate’s Degree.
• Registered Respiratory Therapist (NBRC) required.
• Current Florida RT license (or TT) is required; CRT accepted but must become RRT within 36 months.

Responsibilities

• Deliver aerosol and oxygen therapy, CPT, incentive spirometry, and assist with mechanical ventilation.
• Obtain arterial blood gases and perform pulmonary function testing.
• Monitor pulse oximetry and patient status; assist with fiberoptic bronchoscopy.
• Perform CPR and support Acute Care services as needed.
