Job summary

Alton Memorial Hospital is seeking an experienced Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) or Certified Respiratory Therapist (CRT) with 5 years of experience to join the respiratory care team in a full-time night shift. The role provides comprehensive respiratory care to adult, pediatric and neonatal patients in a supportive hospital environment.

Qualifications

• Assoc or CoARC accredited program in Respiratory Therapy.
• Licensure/certification (RRT/CRT) as applicable and 5 years of experience preferred.
• No prior experience required per role history.

Responsibilities

• Communicate effectively with the healthcare team and document care.
• Educate patients, families and staff about respiratory therapies and procedures.
• Provide diagnostic and therapeutic respiratory procedures per standards.
• Support advanced clinical care including ECMO, ventilation, bronchoscopy as needed.
• Ensure patient safety and comply with quality and regulatory requirements.
