Select Specialty Hospital is seeking a Respiratory Therapist (RRT/CRT) to join our Alle Kiski team. The role involves evaluating patients and delivering advanced respiratory care for critically ill patients, including procedures like endotracheal tube management and we emphasise patient education and family counseling.

Qualifications

• Must possess Active CRT or RRT credential from NBRC or state equivalent.
• Proof of graduation required: college transcript/diploma or high school transcript/diploma/GED.
• BLS certification required by start date.
• Current state licensure is required.
• ACLS required within 6 months of hire.
• Preferred: 1 year of related experience.

Responsibilities

• Evaluating patients and recommending an appropriate treatment plan.
• Providing respiratory care to patients with critical and complex medical and surgical conditions.
• Performing insertion and removal of endotracheal tubes.
• Promoting continuous quality improvement.
• Teaching and counseling patients/families.
