Qualifications

• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.

Responsibilities

• Administers respiratory patient care under the direction of a physician and collaborates with the care team.
• Educates patients on CPAP, asthma, COPD, and post-discharge care.
• Performs airway management, ventilator adjustments, and monitors gas exchange.
• Identifies expected patient outcomes and participates in weaning from ventilation when appropriate.
